Chess match with Christian Hesse

Last week the Chess Days took place in Dortmund. In the chess match between the two former world champions Viswanathan Anand and Vladimir Kramnik, Christian Hesse was allowed to make the symbolic opening move in the fourth match game.

Christian Hesse has been friends with both former World Champions for many years, since their respective times as World Champions, and has also played a strongly contested draw game against Anand.
